Abstract:

Provides a brief overview of some of the relevant literature on older drivers and their abilities. Several sections of the paper -- Sensory/perceptual problems, Cognitive Challenges, Physical and psychomotor Abilities, and Older Pedestrians -- although very brief, could be of value to designers because of it describes age-related decreases in abilities.
